NICK BURTON stands by for a recall to the Gravesend defence as the club bid for a third straight win in the Nationwide Conference tonight at Barnet.
Burton, who replaced on-loan Tim Cole after 61 minutes in Saturday's 5-2 defeat of Scarborough, galvanised the Fleet defence and looked to have done enough to keep his place.
Though the Fleet scored five against Scarborough, manager Andy Ford expressed concern at the team's defending.
He said:"Both goals were conceded on Saturday were the result of poor defending and we'll have to do better than that at Barnet. "We've worked hard on our pattern of play going forward but it seems we'll have to concentrate on our defending.
"I'm delighted we managed back-to-back wins against Northwich and Scarborough but we've got to do better defensively."
