Murder investigators trying to find the killer of shooting victim Danny King have staged a partial reconstruction of the events leading up to his death.

Mr King, 51, was shot four times in his Medina Drive home during the early hours of Friday, October 17.

Officers from Kent Police closed the roads around Mr King's home for around three and half hours on Thursday night to reconstruct some of the events they believe occurred before Mr King's death.

Senior investigating officer Det Ch Insp Jon Bumpus has revealed the investigating team were looking at CCTV footage from the area.

He said: "The CCTV footage contains images of people approaching a car in New Road, close to its junction with Medina Road, around the time of Danny's murder.

"We would like to identify that vehicle and those people in order to eliminate them from our investigation. They may also have information which can assist our inquiries and we would like to hear from them as soon as possible."

More than 40 officers and police staff are Mr Bumpus said: "The family continues to work with us in order to assistant in any way they can to find the person or persons responsible for Danny's murder.

"We ask that anyone who has information thinks of the pain and the terrible ordeal they are going through and to contact us immediately."
