A 34-year-old Ramsgate man known locally as 'Big Foot' has been found after going missing from his home.

Michael Phelan, who is 6ft 7in tall with a very heavy build, was reported missing on Tuesday evening. He lives in Picton Road in the town with his family.

He suffers from learning difficulties and diabetes, and only had enough medication to last a couple of days.

A police spokesman confirmed Michael was found in London late on Wednesday evening.
