A TEENAGER who was missing from his home has been found safe and well.

Mystery surrounded the whereabouts of 17-year-old Mark Scullion after he had not been seen for nearly a week.

He was missing from his home in Chatham and was last seen in Lingfield, Surrey, in the early hours of Tuesday, August 30.

At the time it was not known why he visited the area but Medway Police were becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

But he was found safe and well on Friday night.

PC Colin Grant said: "Following the publicity appealing for information about his whereabouts, we heard from Mark on Friday and are satisfied that he is safe and well. His family are greatly relieved."
