Restaurant staff attacked during raid

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after robbers made off with £4,000 from a restaurant.

Two employees were attacked and robbed of cash in the car park at The Falconwood Harvester Restaurant, Lingfield Crescent, Eltham.

After a struggle, two men escaped in a blue Renault Scenic which was driven by a third man in the direction of the A2.

The two men are described as black, aged between 28 and 30 years and approximately 6 feet tall. The driver is described as a white male, aged about 40 years.

Police believe the suspects spent some considerable time loitering in the vicinity of the car park before the robbery.
