PREPARATIONS for one of the county's largest events in the motoring calendar - the KM Motoring Pageant - are well underway.

The pageant is held each year at the Hop Farm Country Park, Beltring, near East Peckham, and will this year be staged on Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6.

Now in its third year, the event has proved one of the most popular events on the farm's calendar, attracting more than 19,000 people last year over its two days.

Organisers already have classic and commercial vehicle entries flooding in and booking entertainment.

Among the dealers already booked to exhibit their new models and services at the show are PK motors from Tunbridge Wells, Lindbrook Audi from Tonbridge, Lifestyle Ford from Tunbridge Wells and Whitehouse Renault in Tunbridge Wells.
