THE employers of murdered Kent lorry driver Ian Jones have offered a £25,000 reward for information leading to his killers' identification and prosecution.
Mr Jones, of Hawkhurst, was run over and killed with his 18-ton lorry as he tried to stop thieves making off with his load while making a delivery to a Currys store in Chingford, Essex, last month.
With no arrests made, Dixons hopes the reward will encourage people to come forward.
John Clare, chief executive of the Dixons Group, said: "Ian's death was a terrible and unnecessary tragedy and he is greatly missed. We all hope that this reward will encourage anyone with information about the identity of Ian's killers to come forward."
The police officer leading the murder hunt said he welcomed the initiative.
Det Ch Insp Stuart Gibson said: "I would also be interested in speaking to anyone who has information concerning the stolen goods and we will take a sensitive approach to anyone who has taken control of any of the goods without knowing the horrific means by which they were stolen."
Police have released details of what was stolen from Mr Jones's lorry.
