Impact of Storm Ciaran in Kent rolls on as many roads remain blocked and flood alerts in place

Yesterday’s extreme weather, which saw 85 mph winds batter parts of the county, took its toll on Kent’s roads and infrastructure. Schools were forced to close and by 2pm more than 6,000 homes were without power.
