Everyone hates being held up on their way to and from work.
To make things a little bit easier, here is a list of some roadworks going on around the county this week.
Major improvement work
Journeys may be disrupted on the A21 between Tonbridge and Pembury as major improvement work continues this week.
A 40mph speed limit remains in place 24/7 between the Vauxhall interchange and the A228.
The southbound carriageway will be closed between Quarry Hill and the Pembury interchange and the northbound carriageway between the Pembury and Vauxhall interchanges overnight, between 8pm and 6am, on Thursday.
Longfield Road will be closed in both directions as well between Longfield roundabout and Knights Park roundabout.
A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A26, A2014, A26 and A228.
Resurfacing work on M20
Improvements are due to take place this week between junctions four and six.
The eastbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am until Sunday.
A diversion will be put in place via the A228, M2 and A229.
At the same time, work will also take place to make the following slip roads smoother on the M20.
Bridge repairs in Canterbury
Safety maintenance is going to be carried out on a bridge near Canterbury this week.
The work will be taking place on the A2 between Upper Harbledown and Thannington Road.
The eastbound carriageway will be closed between the A2050 and the A2050 at Roman Road overnight between 8pm and 6am every night until Friday.
A diversion will be in place via the A2050, A290 & A2050.
Clearing litter on M2
Road workers are going to be litter picking this week.
The cleaning will be on the M2 between junction two and junction four.
They will be out between 8pm and 6am, until Wednesday.
