Kent skipper Rob Key (pictured) has spoken for the first time about rumours linking him with a winter switch to Surrey.
The 30-year-old revealed that he has not had any contact with officials at The Brit Oval.
Distancing himself from the speculation about his own future, Key said: "I have still got a year left on my contract, so I can't see why it should be any different.
"There are so many names being talked about, but it's all rumours. I haven't spoken to anybody."
Key, who skippered Kent to the LV County Championship Division 2 title and an immediate return to top-flight cricket, has scored more than 1,000 runs this summer at an average of 55.21.
