DETECTIVES in Thanet are investigating a robbery at a High Street bank. The Halifax at Margate was targeted at about 11.15am today.

It is not known if the men were armed or how much money was demanded or taken.

A spokeswoman for Thanet police said: "We are involved in dealing with this incident right now and it is too early to say what happened."

She added: "I can confirm that no members of staff or members of the public were hurt."
