Drivers in Medway are being warned about the dangers of an illegal right turn in Rochester which could put lives at risk.

There are right turn restrictions in place from both Victoria Street and the High Street/Eastgate on to Star Hill. However, these regulations are frequently flouted.

The manoeuvre causes problems for both fellow motorists but also for pedestrians using the crossings on Star Hill.

Anyone who disregards the restriction could face a £30 fine.
