BRIDS of prey, live music, line dancing and dog displays are just some of the attractions at this year's Country Fayre in New Romney on Saturday.
The fair is the largest free event held on the Marsh and last year attracted around 7,000 people to the town. The festivities will take place in the St Martin's Field, Fairfield Road, from 10am to 5.30am.
The day will begin with a parade through the High Street after which the Mayor of New Romney, Cllr Barbara Palmer, will officially declare the fair open. There will be about 150 stalls as well as arena events.
The main attractions will be displays by the Essex Dog Team, birds of prey from Eagle Heights, Starway, Woodchurch Morris dancers, the Bill Barnacle band, line dancing and the Morgan Chain Gang.
Miss New Romney Karlie Thompson-Howie and her princesses will also be in attendance.
