PRINCESS Anne will visit a rural housing scheme in Kent next week to mark the official opening of 25 affordable new homes.
She is due to touch down in a helicopter on the recreation ground at Wingham shortly before 2.30pm on Tuesday where she will be greeted by the Lord Lieutenant of Kent, Allan Willett.
He will introduce the Princess Royal, who is president of the Rural Housing Trust, to civic dignatories and members of the trust, parish council and Dover District Council, which jointly developed the scheme.
She will be handed a posy by primary school pupil Melissa Blackman and unveil a plaque at the development in Miller Close before meeting the new residents.
The Princess is due to leave shortly before 3pm.
