Motorists are being warned to expect delays after a three-car collision on the Loose Road, near the Wheatsheaf Pub, in Maidstone.

The incident happened at about 4.10pm. Police and medics attended the scene and treated people for minor injuries.

Inspector Tony Boakes said: “Three vehicles are involved and patrols are still on the scene.

“Some people have suffered minor injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

“The ambulance and fire brigade are on the scene and highways have been informed.”
