Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds has revealed his love for a Kent prankster in a rare interview about his latest blockbuster movie.
The Deadpool star disclosed his respect for Dover-based Arron Crascall in social media discussion about ‘IF’, which is currently premiering in UK cinemas.
At the end of the clip posted on Facebook, the star calls Mr Crascall “very funny” and encourages his co-star Cailey Fleming to watch his content.
“You gotta check this guy, he’s very very funny,” Reynolds said.
“Arron has a very funny Instagram, I’ve been following him for years. I love his stuff.”
Mr Crascall, who is known for creating videos of him startling people by singing at the top of his lungs, ends the interview saying he is about to sing on the subway.
“I’m gonna sing ‘New York, New York’ or ‘An Englishman in New York’ by The Sting,” he says.
To which Ryan replies: “You’re lucky you do most of your stuff in the UK because people are kinder and they won’t take a swing at you.”
The Kent comedian has before taken to the streets of Canterbury where he created one of his more classic pieces of content where he startles people by singing next to them.
This particular clip received 1.2 million views and more than 50,000 likes in less than 24 hours.
The video sees him wandering around the city with a pair of headphones while singing to himself.
He captions the video: ‘Awkward headphones is back!’.
At one point in the clip, which he shared on his Instagram, TikTok and Facebook page, he startles a group of elderly ladies who turn around to hear him blaring out Aerosmith's ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’.
Last year, Elon Musk reacted to one of Crascall’s videos.
In the clip, Arron pokes fun at a safety video on how to escape a criminal in the back of a car.
The joke attracted almost 700,000 likes, and a further 5.2 million views when it was reposted by another account on X.
On the repost, Elon Musk responded by tweeting a laughing emoji.
