Faversham try to win the ball against Walton Casuals

Faversham had two players sent off as they lost 1-0 at home to Walton Casuals in Ryman Division 1 South on Saturday.

The only goal came after four minutes when Alfie Arthur capitalised on a mistake by home keeper Rob French, and Faversham's chances of getting back into the game were made more difficult when Damien Abel was shown a straight red card after 47 minutes and Jake Leberl received a second yellow 15 minutes from time.

Sittingbourne moved into fifth place with a 2-1 home win over lowly Whyteleafe.

The visitors scored first through a 9th-minute strike from Dan Oakins but Tom Bradbrook equalised on the stroke of half-time and Billy Manners snatched the Brickies' winner three minutes from the end.

Despite leading 1-0 at half-time Ramsgate went down 2-1 at Fleet Town.

Liam Quinn gave Jim Ward's side their interval advantage but the Hampshire side hit back in the second half through two goals from Johnny Dyer.

Whitstable Town slipped to a 3-1 at fellow strugglers Walton & Hersham after conceding three goals in nine minutes early in the first half. Michael Yianni pulled one back for Town with 25 minutes gone but that was as good as it got for Mark Lane's side.

Chatham Town were beaten 2-0 at Godalming where the home side scored twice in the second half despite the Chats enjoying most of the possession.
