Hythe Town needed a 90th-minute equaliser from skipper Dave Cook to save them from defeat when they met Ryman League, Division 1 South promotion rivals Sittingbourne at Reachfields on Saturday.
Hythe would have drawn level on points with leaders Maidstone if they had won but inste ad they were grateful to salvage a point after the Brickies had led from the third minute thanks to a Tom Loynes strike.
