Sat Nav stolen from fire engine on 999 call

A satellite navigation system was stolen from a fire engine while it was attending a fire.

The equipment was taken from the Dennis pump while firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict property in Royal Road, Ramsgate, on Sunday April 6.

The stolen property has since been recovered by police and two people, a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman both from Ramsgate, have received cautions for handling stolen goods.

Investigations continue into the theft.
