Being locked in one of Medway's most haunted venues is probably not how most people would chose to spend a Friday night, but that's exactly what a team from kmfm will be doing this Halloween.
The intrepid presenters will be broadcasting live from tunnels deep underground at Fort Amherst as their nerves are tested to the maximum.
Oli Kemp, Vanessa Elms and Rob Wills will be on air from 10pm until early Saturday morning. They will be joined by a team of psychic mediums and ghost hunters and historians in the search for paranormal activity.
Their hunt will take them deep underground into parts of the Napoleonic fort not usually open to the public.
Presenter Louis Hurst will be giving listeners of his Evening Republic show the chance to join the team on their ghost hunt.
If the team are going to find spooks anywhere in Medway then Fort Amherst is certainly a good place to try.
The tunnels were built in 1756 to defend Chatham Dockyard and were home to soldiers for hundreds of years.
