Schoolboy hit by bus 'comfortable'

A BOY of 11 is still in hospital with serious leg injuries after an accident involving a bus in Ramsgate town centre on Tuesday, November 21.

Police say the youngster was on his way home from The Hereson School at Broadstairs when he was involved in "an incident" as he got off the bus in Leopold Street shortly before 4pm.

He was taken to the Queen Mother Hospital at Margate for treatment where his condition is described as "comfortable."

A spokesman for the school declined to comment. A Kent Police spokesman added: "Nobody has been arrested or charged as yet."
