A GIRL of 12 has died after suffering an epileptic fit at her home.

Shanice Chrystie, who was a student at the Hundred of Hoo School, near Rochester, lived in Strood.

The year eight pupil was popular with her friends and the school’s head teacher has written to all parents telling them of the tragedy.

A spokesman for the education authority said: “We offer our heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends and all those who helped her learn.

“The council’s education psychology team is working very closely with the school to help support the pupils at this very sad time.”
