CHILDREN'S TV star Lizzie Greenwood has been doing some scouting of her own in preparation for one of the biggest events in Kent Scouts' calendar.

The BBC Newsround presenter will share the stage with one of the pop world's biggest bands, the Sugababes, when she presents the Totally Wild 2007 music festival at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park.

Scouts and music fans from across Kent are set to flock to the event on Saturday, June 30, which celebrates 100 years of Scouting.

Last month, the presenter took a reconnaissance trip around the 600-acre park, where she and accompanying scouts met some of Port Lympne's full-time residents.

On the day itself, Totally Wild ticket holders will also get to walk around the famous park and see its fantastic array of exotic creatures first hand before enjoying the concert.

Supporting acts at the festival include Dyyce, Mirror View, Lisbee, Tremors, Cabaret Doll and former X Factor contestant Ben Mills.

Anyone interested in the festival should book on line at www.kentscouts2007.org.uk.

Tickets are £22 per person for the day, including zoo and pop concert entry.
