Police are trying to trace two missing teenage girls who may have travelled to Dartford.

Kelsey McGough and Megan Smith vanished from southern Essex.

They were last seen yesterday morning (Saturday) and Kelsey is 15 years old, white, 5ft 3ins, with shoulder-length brown hair and of slim build.

Megan is 14 years old, white, 5ft 5ins, with shoulder-length blonde hair and is also of slim build and officers believe the girls are together and may have travelled on the rail network over the weekend.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We’re worried about them and want to make sure they’re okay.”

The girls have links to Hadleigh, Rochford and South Ockendon in Essex and officers think they may have travelled to Dartford, Surrey and Tottenham in north London.

Police ask anyone who is with the teenagers or knows where they are to dial 999 and quote incident 0375 of 22 March.
