Police and coastguard search teams have been deployed to the cliffs at Dover.
There are unconfirmed reports they are trying to locate a man after concerns were raised.
The search has taken place this afternoon around Langdon Cliffs, overlooking the ferry port and indications are it has concluded.
Kent Police have been approached for an update.
