A second lorry has overturned in as many days at the same place on the Isle of Sheppey - after hitting the car of a man investigating the previous crash!
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the incident at about 10.20am on the Cowstead Corner roundabout, near to the bridge.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters from Sheppey and Sittingbourne attended, but were not needed to release anyone from the vehicle.
The lorry was in collision with a Vauxhall Vectra that was parked at the side of the roundabout.
The Vectra is owned by a Highways Agency contractor who was at the scene investigating yesterday’s RTC in which an HGV overturned at Cowstead Corner.
No-one was in the Vectra at the time of the incident and the driver of the lorry was not injured.
Police patrols attended and closed the roundabout to traffic.
Although Sheppey-bound traffic is still able to use the Sheppey Crossing vehicles travelling towards Sittingbourne are being diverted over the Kingsferry Bridge.
