A second man has been charged in connection with a double stabbing over the weekend.

Two men were injured in the incident in Upper Luton Road, Chatham, on Sunday.

Warren Bennett, 28, of Upper Luton Road, was charged with grievous boldly harm with intent. He is due to appear in court on Wednesday.

He was injured in the incident and arrested after his release from hospital on Tuesday.

Richard Mumford, 28, also of Upper Luton Road, was also charged with GBH with intent earlier this week and remanded in custody until the New Year after appearing at Medway Magistrates' court on Tuesday. He was arrested in the early hours of Sunday.

The other injured man remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Two women arrested in connection with the incident have been released without charge.
