A teenager pervert who worked with children across Bromley has admitted hoarding a massive stash of child porn and sexually touching a young girl.

Shane Degraag, 19, made almost 1,000 indecent images and videos of children - including some at the most serious level possible.

Degraag, a former child care worker, told police that he had dumped hundreds of pictures in Hayes woodland when he handed himself in after taking a drugs overdose.

He worked part time with children across the borough, but officers say he was never left unsupervised.

Degraag, who has no previous convictions, reeled off a string of 12 guilty pleas at Croydon Crown Court on Monday.

He admitted making 910 indecent images of children, 18 of which falling into the most serious category.

Judge Simon Pratt ordered a psychiatric report ahead of sentencing next month.

Degraag thanked the judge "very much" as he was led from the dock by security guards. He was told a custodial sentence was "inevitable".
