THE recent rain is pleasing for point-to-point enthusiasts and should produce plenty of runners for Sunday’s meeting at Charing.

Members of the Mid Surrey Farmers’ Drag are staging the fixture with the first of seven races starting at noon.

In addition, two national sponsors will be running their qualifiers.

In addition to the racing there are trade stands selling a wide range of products and a safe play area for children with bouncy castle and other attractions.

Entrance by car costs £20 and £25 regardless of the number of passengers.
