A YOUNG student was subjected to a sexual assault by a teenager as he walked from a shop.
The 16-year-old was walking along Magpie Hall Road at Chatham when he noticed another youth standing near the shop.
After buying a drink in the shop, he came out and walked across the road towards an alleyway, which leads from Magpie Hall Road, towards Wayfield Road. He then noticed the other youth was following him.
Just at that moment, he was hooked around the shoulders from behind by the other youth who made graphic comments of a sexual nature.
A spokesman for Medway Police said: "The victim tried to walk away but the offender started pushing him to the side of the alleyway and towards some bushes. The attacker threw the student to the ground and got on top of him.
"The student managed to roll over so that he was on top of his assailant and he punched him, before getting up and running down the hill."
The attacker is about 16 or 17 years old, 5ft 10in, of broad build and with short, light brown hair. He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a white/silver TN baseball cap, baby blue tracksuit bottoms and a baby blue Adidas hoodie.
