A Kent man convicted of having sex on a Dubai beach has failed to board a flight back to the UK today because he's still in jail.

Vince Acors, of Bromley, was due at Heathrow this afternoon after being deported from the Gulf state.

Acors' lawyer said the delay was "inexplicable".

He and Michelle Palmer had their three-month jail terms suspended on appeal.
