A Kent man found guilty of having sex on a Dubai beach could face a longer jail term.

Prosecutors have appealed against the three-month sentences handed down to 34-year-old Vince Acors from Bromley and 36-year-old Michelle Palmer from Leicestershire.

They claim the sentences are too lenient.

The defence lawyer also plans to appeal against the convictions at a hearing next month.
