Two British people - including a man from Kent - have been found guilty of having sex while drunk on a beach in Dubai.

Vince Acors, 34, from Bromley, and a 36-year-old woman from Leicestershire had spent the day drinking at a champagne brunch at a hotel before the incident in July.

Prosecutors told a judge they were seen hours later having sex in public.

The pair denied charges of public indecent and unmarried sex - but admitted being drunk.

They were jailed for three months - although the penalty could have been six years - and will be deported after serving their sentences.

Their lawyer said they will remain on bail until an appeal is completed.
