Shaun Russell, whose wife and daughter were murdered in Kent 16 years ago, has received a phone hacking payout today.
He is one of 19 high-profile people who become the latest to reach an agreement with the News of the World's parent company News International.
The size of Mr Russell's payout has not been disclosed.
His wife Lin and daughter Megan Russell were killed by Michael Stone, formerly of Skinner Street, Gillingham, in a hammer attack in Chillenden, near Canterbury, in July 1996.
Stone attacked Dr Russell and her daughters Megan and Josie as they walked home from a swimming gala along a country lane.
Josie survived and has made a miraculous recovery. She moved to Wales with Mr Russell after the attacks.
Actor Jude Law, former deputy Prime Minister John Prescott and footballer Ashley Cole are among those who also received payouts.
