Lordswood's Chris Piesley batting against The Mote Picture: Steve Crispe
Bromley are back on top of the Shepherd Neame Kent League Premier Division after beating Bickley Park by three wickets on Saturday.
They would have won much more comfortably but for a superb effort with bat and ball from Park's Abhijit Kale. He scored 101 out of Park's total of 135, with Ricaldo Anderson claiming 5-21, and then took 3-31 as Bromley made hard work of reaching their modest target.
The defending champions were grateful for an unbeaten 40 from opener Alex Cooper as they opened up a six-point lead at the top.
Bexley, the previous leaders, suffered a four-wicket defeat at Hartley Country Club. Skipper Jack Bell (68 not out) held the Bexley innings together as they set a target of 182, with the Hartley attack sharing the wickets around, and then James Thompson (65 not out) and Scott Mckechnie (58) carried the home side to victory - and second spot in the table - with 15 balls to spare.
Hartley are one point in front of Lordswood after the Medway side defeated bottom-of-the-table The Mote by five wickets.
Alistair Neale (4-23) was Lords' most successful bowler as they restricted The Mote to 156, Caspian Paget top scoring with 44. Opener Chris Piesley (72 not out) then guided Lordswood to victory despite Kenny George taking a five-wicket haul for the Maidstone side.
Evert Bekker produced a captain's performance to lead Tunbridge Wells to a crucial 18-run success in their relegation battle with Sibton Park.
Chris Williams (81) provided the backbone of Wells' total of 228-7 and then Bekker took over, claiming 6-38 to restrict Park to 210-8 in reply.
The closest contest of the day was at the Rectory Field where Blackheath edged Sevenoaks Vine by two runs. Opener George Wells top scored with 79 in Blackheath's 217-9, but Oliver Howick (81) looked set to secure victory for Vine until he was run out with two balls left and two runs required as the visitors were dismissed for 215.
