Former Kent player Min Patel spun Bexley to a four-wicket win over leaders Blackheath in the Shepherd Neame Kent League Premier Division on Saturday.
Patel picked up 6-37 from 15 overs as Blackheath were bowled out for 210, with only Dipayan Paul (58) making any sort of score. Bexley then reached their target in 46.1 overs, helped by contributions from young Kent player Adam Ball (75) and Greg Bain (69).
Second-placed Lordswood also lost, going down by 60-runs to a Lorne Burns-inspired Sevenoaks Vine side.
Burns finished on 120 not out as Sevenoaks set a target of 273-8, with Daniel Masters taking 5-60. Burns then starred with the ball, claiming 6-43 as Lordswood were dismissed for 213.
The Mote's problems at the bottom of the table continued with a nine-wicket defeat at Hartley Country Club.
The Maidstone side were removed for 176, James Hodgson top scoring with 68, and then an unbeaten century by Sam Billings saw Hartley score the required runs in 33.2 overs.
Sibton Park are only one place above The Mote following their eight-wicket defeat at Bickley Park.
Richard Horner (4-29) and Barry Hooper (3-55) combined to dismiss the Lyminge side for 151, a target which Phil Browning (66) and Richard Clinton (64 not out) virtually knocked off themselves with a second-wicket partnership of 126.
Bromley earned a winning draw in a high-scoring game with Tunbridge Wells.
Miguel Barbosa hit an unbeaten 135 and Matt Dennington fell four short of his century as Bromley piled up 330-4. Wells then replied with 321-6, with Geoff Paulson hitting 108 and Chris Williams 79.
