All but one of the 14 people taken to hospital yesterday after a multi-car pile-up on Sheppey's bridges have been released.
The chaos started just after 8am, when five cars crashed trying to avoid a broken-down Vauxhall Corsa in the fast lane of the new Sheppey Crossing.
The second accident came when a Hyundai and a VW Passat hit head on on the Kingsferry Bridge about half an hour later.
Then, three more crashes came as cars were stuck in traffic on that bridge.
