POLICE have arrested a man after a shot was fired in the village of Laddingford, near Maidstone.

The incident happened at about 10.30pm last night. A spokeswoman for Maidstone and Malling police said today: “It is believed that during that incident a firearm was discharged although nobody was injured."

She added: "At the moment a man is in custody and he is helping police with their inquiries.”
