A TEENAGE schoolboy has been brutally raped by three youths as he walked from his home to meet a friend.

The 14-year-old youngster was grabbed in an alleyway off York Avenue, Gillingham, and dragged on to the Great Lines where he was subjected to the sickening attack.

Detectives said the teenager was so traumatised by the assault that an appeal for information was only released yesterday - six days after the rape.

Although distressed, the boy managed to reach his friend's home where the alarm was raised.

The three youths are aged between 14 to 18. They were of Eastern European appearance and described as looking dishevelled.

They pounced on their victim as he walked towards Chatham Hill last Thursday at about 8.30pm.
