One lucky Kent listener has started their Friday night with a £1,000 prize win on kmfm.

Nikki Yeo from Edenbridge received a surprise call from presenter Rob Wills during Drivetime earlier this evening.

From the thousands who entered, it was her text sent at 4.22 that was selected from the mix of messages and online entries.

'£1,000 Friday' invites listeners to enter to win the cash prize from Thursday 6pm, with one person chosen at random on Friday.

Rob Wills, kmfm presenter, made the call to Nikki at 6pm.

The delighted winner said she would be putting the cash towards a new clutch on her car so she can get back out on the road after two weeks.

She said: "Oh my god thank you - I can't believe it. That has helped out so much."
