Sikhs line streets at opening of Gurdwara in Gravesend

Sorry, this video asset has been removed.

Hundreds of Sikhs lined town centre streets to celebrate the
official opening of Gravesend's new Gurdwara - the largest
outside India.

The new temple cost £12 million and has taken eight years to
build.

A special weekend long service will be held in the new Gurdwara
to mark the 541st birthday of Sikh founder Guru Nanak Sahib Ji.

Town centre streets had to be cordoned off while the procession
took place on Friday morning.
