Gillingham defender Simon King scooped four awards at Priestfield on Saturday evening, including the player of the year.
As well as receiving the main accolade, King also walked away with the players’ player trophy, the sponsors’ award and the away supporters’ award.
"Every single trophy is a special one," said the 26-year-old defender.
"It’s brilliant and it’s a special moment. The fans have been great. They’ve seen a lot this year with ups and downs but they’ve stuck by us for the majority of the time. To be highly regarded by the fans is what you go out there for."
King’s parents made a surprise appearance to make the evening even more special.
"I didn’t expect them to come," he said. "They made a long trip down and to experience it with them was a very happy moment."
Runner-up in the player of the year vote was Andy Barcham and 18-goal leading scorer Simeon Jackson came third.
The young player of the year was Jack Payne, while supporter of the year was Steve Webb, who has been watching the Gills this season despite receiving four courses of chemotherapy.
Making a late appearance at the awards ceremony was Curtis Weston.
The midfielder crashed his car into the back of team-mate Mark McCammon’s vehicle after the game, but was unhurt.
"It was a pretty bad one as I couldn’t drive it afterwards and there was a bit of an impact," he said.
Weston was there in time to receive his award for goal of the season after fans voted his strike against Shrewsbury at Priestfield ahead of Jackson’s effort against Aston Villa.
"It was great to get an award, especially as Simon King got all the others!" he joked.
To round off a great weekend for King, he was named in the PFA's League 2 team of the year on Sunday evening.
