Simon Langton will field four teams in the badminton finals at this year’s Kent School Games in Canterbury during the summer.
The boys under-16s and both under-14s all qualified as group winners, while the under-16 girls finished runners-up, the top four teams in each age group going through.
Langton boys under-16s beat Harvey Grammar from Folkestone 5-0 in the final, and will be joined by Ashford Christchurch and Ursuline College from Thanet. The girls finished behind winners Ashford Christchurch, with Queen Elizabeth’s Faversham and Westlands School Sittingbourne, also going through.
The boys under-14s beat Sandwich Technology 5-0 in the final, with Harvey Grammar and Chatham House, Ramsgate, finishing third and fourth respectively.
The girls edged through 3-2 against Highworth Grammar in their final with Sir Roger Manwood from Sandwich and Ursuline College also going through.
