More than 200 children entered the competition run by Kent County Council to name the new lorries that will be taking care of icy roads this winter.
Snowbuster, Saltin it out and Gritty Rascal are some of the names of chosen by children across the county.
The winners were published today and lucky winners will receive a 'gritificate' as a reward for their inventive ideas.
To help keep the roads safe during the cold snap, 17 new gritters have been deployed across the county.
