One person has died and three others injured in a seven-vehicle pile-up on the M25.

The collision took place shortly after 4pm on Friday.

Firefighters, police and ambulance crews were all called to the crash at the London bound junction with the M20.

The carriageway between junctions two and three was closed for more than 10 hours, reopening at around 3am.

Six cars and one lorry were involved in the collision.
