Photographer Melvin Sillcock was working flat out today as the first of our 2009 Kids Galore photo sessions began.

Melvin will be at Hempstead Valley shopping centre (outside Marks & Spencer) up to and including Sunday.

This is the eleventh year we've run the competition and last year more than 1,200 faces were printed on the pages of the Medway Messenger.

A massive £3,500 of prize money has been put up by our sponsors, Hempstead Valley.

During this week's session at Hempstead Valley, Melvin will be taking hundreds of photographs. His second photo session will be at the centre from Wednesday, February 25 to Sunday, March 1 (inclusive).

Entry forms will be available at the centre from Melvin's assistants. Alternatively, the entry form is printed in the Medway Messenger, Medway Extra and is also on this website.

We will be publishing out picture galleries in the Medway Messenger towards the end of March.
