A cyclist from Strood who died in a crash on his way home from work has been named as Graham Hughes.
The 56-year-old grandfather hit a stationary lorry on the A228 Snodland by-pass on Saturday afternoon.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Hughes had worked at the Wincanton road haulage depot, in Snodland, for 23 years.
He would have been married to Julie for 29 years on Monday, October 1 - also the date of his funeral at Blue Bell Hill crematorium.
Mr Hughes had two children - Gary and Zoe - and grandfather to seven-year-old Harry and three-year-old George.
His family said he was a keen and experienced cyclist, who had ridden many charity bike rides, and was a "great friend to many".
Kent Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened at about 2pm, to phone 01622 798538.
