Several roads across the county remained closed due to being impassable, including Crete Road, Hawkinge, near Folkestone - the scene of a dramatic rescue last night, Selling Road, Faversham and Breach Lane, Hartlip, near Sittingbourne.
Other routes blocked by snow included Chegworth Lane, Harrietsham and Stockers Hill in Rodmersham, near Sittingbourne.
A yellow Met Office weather warning for snow remains in place until 11.59pm tomorrow (Wednesday).
Its statement said: "Frequent snow showers may lead to travel disruption in places. Some places are likely to miss the showers altogether."
Medway police took to twitter to share an image of a car which had lost control on an icy road.

Train company Southeastern has reported line closures due to the ongoing poor weather conditions.
There will be no services today between Sheerness and Sittingbourne, Strood to Paddock Wood/Tonbridge and Bromley North to Grove Park.
Services are also suspended between Tonbridge and Redhill because of a broken down train at Godstone.
Earlier this morning, a broken down car closed one lane of the M25 clockwise entry slip road at J1A for Bob Dunn Way near the Dartford Crossing.
There was slow traffic on the A2 coast-bound following a crash between the Gravesend and Tollgate Services turn-off and Hever Court Road for Cobham.
A crash involving two cars closed one lane of the M25 anticlockwise just before J5 for Sevenoaks and the M26 earlier but it has now re-opened.
One lane of the M20 coast-bound between J1 for the M25 at the Swanley Interchange and J2 for the A20 at Wrotham was blocked following a crash, but has since been cleared.
Yesterday morning a three-car crash caused severe delays on the A229 Blue Bell Hill near the Lord Lees Roundabout. The problems were compounded by a van on fire on the hill.
Police closed Blue Bell Hill last night due to ice.
The A20 Sidcup bypass was just passable in both directions with slow traffic due to snow between the M25 J3 Swanley Interchange and Crittal's Corner in Sidcup.
Today, some schools remain shut for a second day, including the Cornwallis Academy near Maidstone, due to the conditions.
