Parts of Kent could be covered in up to 20cm of snow on Sunday, the Met Office has warned.
Yesterday, a three day weather warning for parts of Kent was issued warning of 'disruptive snow' this weekend.
Today, it's been upgraded from yellow to amber meaning heavy snow is likely to bring disruption on Sunday and could mean up to 20cm of snow in some places.
Those who are having to travel by bus, rail and air for work could face long delays or cancellations and roads may become blocked leaving passengers stranded.
There are also warnings of "long interruptions to power supplies and other services, such as gas, water, telephone and mobile phone coverage."
The warning reads: "Within the warning area, accumulations widely 5-10 cm are probable, with a potential for 15-20 cm in places. Very strong easterly winds with gusts around 50 mph are possible, which may lead to blizzard conditions for a time and the possibility of drifting of snow.
"Later on Sunday evening, the heavy snow will start to ease, with light snow potentially continuing well into Monday, adding to snowfall accumulation totals."
A yellow warning remains in place for snow on Saturday with it expected to get worse overnight into Sunday.
A snow warning was in place last month, although predicted disruption didn't materialise.
