The yellow warning for snow an ice for the county means snow is expected to fall overnight.
Forecasters have predicted ice and up to 7cm of the white stuff, which could lead difficult driving conditions and disruption to transport services.
There are reports of a light dusting of snow falling in Sevenoaks, Edenbridge and Maidstone this evening and the weather warning remains in place until 1pm tomorrow.
The Met Office has said the cold spell continues and there could be icy stretches on untreated roads and pavements across the county.

There could also be power cuts as a result of the icy weather and there are already cancellations on Eurostar at St Pancras International and at Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International due to adverse weather conditions in France and Belgium.
Six services are cancelled and people are being advised to check on the Eurostar website before they travel.
The yellow warning for ice and snow is from 1pm today to 1pm tomorrow and the next 18 to 24 hours will see cold starts to the mornings with temperatures will generally be between zero to -3C.

Kent's gritters will be out again today treating the main routes and people should be careful of slips and falls on icy pavements, some of which could become impassable because of black ice.
The gritter drivers are also reminding people not to block smaller roads with their cars.
South East 4x4 Response, a team of highly skilled volunteers, is preparing to rescue motorists who could become trapped in the snow.
The volunteers work in extreme weather to support other emergency and council services when they are at fully capacity or unable to reach certain areas.
